Beerlust
I was just looking through the Coopers beer kits here on the website & took note of the EBC listings & the corresponding picture of the finished beer in the glass next to each beer kit. Unless yeast type strips colour, there does seem to be a little bit of misleading information presented in reference to final colour of the eventual beer when using a specific kit tin base. As an example, take a look at the EBC listings for the Heritage Lager, & that of the Sparkling Ale kit tins, & compare the colour of the beer displayed in the glass next to each tin. I know it's only a visual representation & eventual colour is a minor thing when relating to beer flavour. It none the less does infer certain things about its makeup to those more "Well-rounded ale drinkers with well-travelled palates". [wink] Not a "biggy", but I thought worth noting. Cheers, Anthony. PB2
All beer porn images are of the actual beer made up as per the recipe recommendation on the label. Heritage Lager will have more colour than the can specs suggest because it is mixed with 1.5kg of Thomas Coopers Light Malt [biggrin]
Beerlust
Thanks for the clarification PB2. The "Beer Porn" (as you refer to it [lol] ) makes perfect sense when put into context when what is displayed, is the result of the recommended recipe of how it is to be brewed. [happy] Cheers, Anthony.
