Wayne (Captain Yobbo)
I was in George Taylor Store today as I was needing to get kerosene for materials for my business and I seen in the camping section regular sized and large sized FV's for $20 for the big ones and $17 for the regular ones. I will be in next week to grab a couple they have the screw on lids like traditional FV's just need to buy spigots thought I would share this with you all. MichaelD16
bought a few watertight camping drums from bunnings only $15 dollars each plus couple of bucks for a tap, works as good as anything.
Wayne (Captain Yobbo)
No you will have to source a spigot elsewhere I have tried to locate them online, I am going to go in next week see if I can get a tap from there as well otherwise bunnings might have the taps. My local bunnings hasn't got any camping water containers and haven't for weeks.
Nick
A great way to settle out a brew before bottling without wasting valuable FV space. Are they over 23 litres?
Hairy
Your LHBS shop should sell taps for those FVs for around $2.

Yes they are over 23 litres, and Hairy I don't have a LHBS near me nearest one is 350km away I wonder if they would do a phone order as I couldn't find their website
Hairy
Ha ha [biggrin] That is still your 'local' brew shop though. I have seen them in Bunnings. It might be worth asking your local Bunnings to order them in.
Wayne (Captain Yobbo)
I am heading out that end of town later so might drop into bunnings to see if they do and if they don't I will ask if they can order them in failing that I will try and order them through LHBS Cheers Hairy
