McFrankel
I have been reading the how to brew section for inspiration on seasonal beers to brew such as the Christmas beer and Octoberfest Beer. I am now looking for further inspiration for an Easter Beer [roll] to give to those kids over the age of 18 [lol]. At first I thought a chocolate dark ale or stout but then remembered for soem strange reason not everyone appreciates dark beer. Any assistance in this would be very much appreciated
AdamH1525226084
What about a really strong beer? Something strong enough to raise the dead [w00t]
Hairy
You have to go the chocolate route. Maybe a Choc Vanilla Stout or Porter. Or perhaps a White Rabbit clone [innocent]
AndyG4
only 6 weeks til Easter dude - if you want to make a heavy or a chocolatey beer, i reckon you might've left your run too late. i've already started doing my seasonal brews for the next major seasonal occasion - footy season ;)
Hairy
only 6 weeks til Easter dude - if you want to make a heavy or a chocolatey beer' date=' i reckon you might've left your run too late[/quote'] If you get it down now you may get away with it. I wouldn't make a strong beer but if you made a chocolately porter or dark beer around 4.5-5% ABV with minimal late hops then you should get there. Let us know what you end up doing. Guest
That depends if he is bottling of kegging. I was drinking the toucan Stout/Dark, with 200g choc, in under 1 week and it was good.
Hairy
You take every opportunity you can get to rub it in [biggrin] I would be doing the same thing if I had an Obelix.
