Ecelon
I just moved house and this is the first time this has happened. I'm curious if anyone has any insight as to what caused this. Is it salvageable as it's only on the top and the bottom so could I use the middle section? Or should I just toss it? Tia

Tia Hi @Ecelon Welcome to the forum, I wouldn't worry about it too much at this stage, could you tell us what the recipe was, the type of yeast & the temperature you are brewing at. Don't keep taking the lid off! Have you got temperature control & how old is the brew. All sorts of things can happen but of course there is usually a reason. ozdevil
Perfectly OK they just look like yeast rafts which is quite often. Keep ferment going and take a tester when you do ya gravity reading.
