Coopers Recipe Star Ratings

G’day Frank,

Can your WEB team please look at a brewer review - star rating system on your recipe page/s, showing say, stars out of five?  I for one would like to see a search filter for best recipes; five stars out of five being the top recipes as voted by Coopers Community Members.  And being a Community Member we would be able to see who rated which recipe what amount of stars and why.

Make it so that ‘the reviewers’ have to be Coopers Community Members so that they can ‘brew and review’ then submit a star or stars to recipe so as to give some honest and reliable feedback.  Non Community members can see the star rating on each recipe but cannot see who gave that review or why.

Feasible?

Nice idea AL.

Perhaps a counter for the number of views of a recipe too.  Maybe one for number of times brewed.  Maybe number of times tasted, so somebody who has tasted one of your brews can also vote.  In addition to a score, you could just have a number of "likes" button.  Certainly plenty of options to make the recipe section more interactive.

G'day AL, I've flicked your suggestion on to the rest of the team for discussion and from there we'll take it to the boss. If it gets up I'll be lobbying for a 5 - 10 star rating system because all of Liam's recipes are at least an 8.

Another idea for the recipe page @Coopers DIY Beer Team would it be possible to add an option in the filter section to filter by recipe “difficulty” rating? Sometimes you just want something fairly quick and simple, sometimes you’re looking for something new and daring to try!

You can filter the recipes in the Recipe Spreadsheet by difficulty, among many other filter options.
