Popo the Reprobate
I've got a dedicated soda water keg and tap in the kegerator. If I change that out for beer, will it leave a taste in the lines when I go back to a water keg?
Aussiekraut
I don’t think so but if in doubt, push some sodium percarbonate into the lines, leave it for a few hours and then flush the lines with starsan and you should be sweet. But I wouldn’t expect any dramas anyway. 1
Popo the Reprobate
Cheers @Aussiekraut. That's what I had figured/hoped would be the case.
Otto Von Blotto
I never noticed any flavour carryover when I'd interchange soda water and beer kegs. I did clean out the line and tap with perc after the beer keg ran out but even without it I doubt it'd be noticeable.
