Grow hops at home

I am looking for hops rhizomes (cascade) to grow in my garden. I live in Perth and can't find any. It would be great if someone can help? People I contacted said that you can't send rhizomes to perth because of quarantine laws. Any advice please?

I'm not sure on the quarantine regulations but you might want to check with the appropriate department first before randomly ordering from interstate or even intrastate.

Here's a link for some contact info.

Once you have that sorted try shopping for rhizomes around July as the winter months are when they become available to buy and it's also the time to plant them.

I got my single Cascade rhizome locally here in Victoria from an eBay seller last August. It wasn't cheap but it's been fun to watch it grow and produce it's very small first year crop that I just harvested a few days ago.

If you're after cascade then Diggers club have them available from 1st of April and WA doesn't seem to be excluded from the shipping destinations..
