Brewsky
Hi, Can anyone tell me if the coopers wheat malt extract can is 100% wheat? Or does it have barley as well, and if so what %? Thanks, Jason
King Ruddager
I asked the same thing recently and was reliably informed that it's 50% wheat.

ICzed
He's a random guy. Employed by Coopers. I think you'll find on the wheat extract cans is even says '50% wheat, 50% light/base malt'

Brewsky
No worries. I have two cans on the way to make a Witbier - yummmm. What are you planning to brew? I am doing a redback clone. I was reading this: http://aussiehomebrewer.com/topic/30455-help-a-yank-clone-redback/ He landed on this recipe: http://hbd.org/cgi-bin/recipator/recipator?item=8001 I wanted to change it to use the coopers cans because they are 50/50 already (BRIESS is 65/35). Using Brewtarget (which I just found and like - open source' date=' free, [img']biggrin[/img]), i came up with: 2 cans coopers LME wheat extract. Pride of ringwood at 60 mins. Saas at 5 mins. 21.5 L. Safbrew WB-06. I love redback. Jason
