My mate from down south (far north western Sydney area) was visiting for a fortnight, he usually visits a couple of time a year and many home brews were drunk and discussed and he enjoyed most of the a great deal, hoppy APA's, English Bitters, IPA's and Stout's. We were chatting on Skype and he is now talking of getting into home brew the commercials just don't cut it his taste buds have been broken, he works in the liquor retail industry and is a Coopers drinker and "pusher", likes his "dark beers" and stouts and his words "just not cutting it anymore" even know they are Okay now.
