Couttsy20
Okay, here's the deal. I've got a bunch of stuff I've picked up over the last 6 months that I haven't brewed, and I'm all out of ideas. I've got (all Coopers) English Bitter Can, Sparkling Ale Can, Real Ale Can, 1.1l can of LLME, i box of LDME, half a box (or so) of dextrose, 1 box of BE1 and about 15 gms or so of Cascade (or Galaxy - my brain is failing today). I'm prepared to use all or any of these - not after anything in particular, as mostly I've been brewing IPA's recently, so am open to suggestions. I'm also heading down to my LHBS this morning, so can pick up any additional ingredients if someone has something that blows my mind that requires a few extra bits and pieces!! No pressure, guys - I just need something new to brew. I've currently got the following conditioning: Coopers Sparkling Coopers ESVA Hoegarden Mountain Goat Hightail Dead Guy Dark Ale Hop Slam IPA I also thing I've still got some Coopers Pale Ale floating around, too... PhilboBaggins
It may just be me, but 15g of hops may not do a lot. I'd probably save them for when you have some more to combine. The English Bitter kit with the malt extract is what I'd be doing. Always a lovely drop. just use the kit, the LME, and 250g dex. [love]
PhilboBaggins
Just saw the bit about you heading to the LHBS. Get some medium crystal if you decide on the EB, and steep. Boil the resulting (strained) wort and chuck it in the FV with the other ingredients.

Couttsy20
Has anyone tried the Julebryg? The Christmas Ale in the Coopers recipes list? Thinking that might be the go, just for something a bit different...
