Ok thanks hairy i'll put it down tomorrow. but dunno bout the yeast can only get the saf-lager, will this make much difference the taste, im guessing it will a little.[unsure]

W-34/70 is a Saflager. But if you can't get that then S-23 should be fine.

 

I used S-189 in a similar brew and it turned out very nice.

I have just knocked the top off a Czech Pils right now, it is made as per the recipe, except for the yeast, I used the Mangrove Jack's craft series Bohemian Yeast. I am just trying one to make sure it has carbonated OK after 3 weeks in the bottle. It tastes quite OK for a lager so I will put it in a fridge to lager for a while and see how it goes. The plan is keep it for Bathurst, but we will see how that goes.....!!!!
