Guest
Where was the Cascade from? regardless, I would put it in an APA Style, the Americans are lapping up our Galaxy. Yob
Hairy
Here are the style guidelines for the APA: BJCP Style Guidelines - APA If you want to make it to style then may want to boil some hops to increase the bitterness. The kit will give you about 25 IBU in 23 litres. Personally, I wouldn't worry about style unless you were entering competitions. Just brew for taste. AdamH1525226084
as the other guys have said - American Pale Ale. Should be nice - Galaxy and Cascade go well, as seen in a beer called Little Creatures Pale Ale
Canadian Eh!L
Personally, I wouldn't worry about style unless you were entering competitions. Just brew for taste. Really, Hairy? I Think the opposite. I think brewing to a style guidline helps the rookie brewer. It give the brewer boundries in which to stay in. It also allow a novice brewer to use/try specific ingredients as they should be used. ie roasted barley in a mild as well as a stout or say Caramunich in a Marzen/Oktoberfest. Helps me, anyway![alien]
Hairy
Maybe not 'worrying about style' wasn't the best term to use. I really meant not to get hung up about strictly fitting into a style guideline. It is OK to deviate from it.
