MichaelD19
Hi hope my Golden Ale is light enough (can't recall where it came from) 1 can Thomas Cooper sparkling ale 1 can light malt extract 1 cup maltodextrin 12g Amarillo bittering hops 20 min rolling boil 12g Amarillo finishing hops last 5 min 12g Amarillo dry hop added when hop solution turned off left to seep 5 min Coopers Sparkling Ale kit yeast x 2 made to 20 litres I love the Amarillo and Galaxy hop, can't remember where I saw this reciepe but it has been a hit with all. Taste tested just under 3 weeks so good its half gone will be lucky to make another 2 weeks. I am new to this so am trying different yeasts so I save kit yeast if not used till I get two of the same kit yeasts and as I only really use Coopers beer kits, they seem to work a treat. weggl
Mike, you could culture some Coopers yeast from Coopers Pale Ale or buy some US-05 yeast, that's a good one. Warren
