Guest
Paul Mercurio is a regular home brewer at AHB and he is releasing a recipe book about cooking with beer in Australia on 1st August and in England on the 5th September. It looks good and I reckon I'll have to purchase a copy. I have no affiliation with Paul or this book. Just thought it would be a good resource to cook with your home brew which you may be interested in.
Ollie
G'day Bill, I really like the way he cooks and I reckon this will be a book to add to the collection myself! Good find mate! [biggrin] Cheers Ollie
Hairy
Yeah, I am looking forward to this too. I enjoy cooking with beer. That is using beer in cooking and drinking it whilst cooking. Hopefully there is a recipe that requires green apples because I have a European Lager that would do the job.

I like to cook with beer...but always in moderation (and I never cook and drive) [innocent]
Tricky
Thanks for the tip, Hairy. Sounds great, I'll keep a look out for it. Here's a link to my recipe for Beef Stout Pies. Great on a cold winter's night. If you try it, let me know what you think. http://rick.besserdin.com/?p=
Muddy Waters
Here's a link to my recipe for Beef Stout Pies I don't like beef Tricky - Do you reckon I could substitute it with tofu? [bandit]
Tricky
I asked for Tofu at the butchers but they said they didn't have any. [crying] Not sure where they farm them, what they feed them, or how they round them up. Still, its a white meat, so it would go better with the Sparkling Ale than the Stout. Hairy
I scored this book for a Father's Day present. It looks the goods. I mentioned once before that two of my favourite things are beer and ice cream. Well, they have been combined in the book. There is a recipe for Wheat Beer Ice Cream[love] I have an ice cream maker so that is definitely on the "to do" list.
