Otto Von Blotto
I'd go for 2 - 2.5 grams per bottle.

Guest
Hiya Dalet3. If you go down to your local homebrew shop, you'll find that they most likely stock a very inexpensive plastic measuring spoon for precise sugar/dextrose additions for your bottling stage. It is a double ended spoon that gives an accurate filled measurement for a stubbie (375/330ml) on one end, & a larger cup size for a full sized 750ml bottle on the other end. It takes all the guess work out of delivering the correct amount of sugar/dextrose into each bottle to correctly begin secondary fermentation. They are not hard to find, just ask around or visit your local homebrew shop, they should have them. Anthony.
Otto Von Blotto
Or you could get a 2nd fermenter and a length of food grade tubing and go down the bulk priming route. [biggrin] Yes, I realise you're only just starting out, but that is something to look at down the track when you get a bit more experience. It makes things so much easier, and you have complete control over carb levels.
LordEoin
Yeah, until you 'accidentally' start brewing in both and need to start looking at buying a third
Otto Von Blotto
[lol] I can't do that, I don't have enough bottles. I did it once when I first got the second one, just to get some bottles filled.

Muddy Waters
Can I use normal white sugar fot this? Absolutely! If individually priming bottles white sugar is probably the best (and easiest).
