Guest
Wondering what people use for heating? I use a reptile heat cord with no problems. Just have it going down the back of my fridge then wrapped loosely around a shelf at the bottom.
Muddy Waters
I just arrived home after visiting keg king - it's 5 mins from my work. Picked up a controller and heat belt for a mate. I've got one in my fridge. Got two terracotta pots at the bottom of the fridge and have the heat belt around those - it works sweet as! I used to use a heat belt and while they work well they tend to burn out after a while if they don't have something to absorb the heat - Hopefully the terracotta will help. They also melt the insides of the fridge on contact if you're not careful.
Coxy
Amazing what you get if you ask. I put a call out on facebook if any friends had an old fridge they were getting rid of. Lo and behold, a friend has a full size fridge they don't need and are giving me for free. Woohoo! now to get a thermostat...
