SamB15
Currently making larger, but i used brewer's enhancer 2 by accident. how will this affect my beer? Also, i realised that the temperature was correct for ale not larger, again, i realised this a bit late. How will it affect my beer?
Guest
Hrrrmmm you obviously mean a Lager (not Larger) [innocent] If it is the one that comes with the kit.... then this should be fermenting at ale temps as it is an ale yeast that comes with it. Best temp for this is 18C-20C. BE2 I would personally recommend rather than BE1 so IMO you will have a better brew when finished. BE1 consists of: 600g dextrose and 400g maltodextrin (60:40) BE2 consists of: 500g dextrose, 250g Light Dry malt and 250g maltodextrin. (50:25:25) Just make sure you brew the kit at ale temps and you should be fine. The instructions even say between 21C & 27C but is definitely better between 18C-20C as I previously mentioned. AnthonyR1525228508
BE2 will give slightly higher alcohol content than BE1. But don't worry. As long as you keep things clean most brews made with standard ingredients turn out pretty good.
WaynoW
I agree, BE2 will make it better than BE1 Happy Brewing
sic_vl
I agree with everyone above. BE2 is heaps better. Your brew will turn out fine, if anything better.
