davids47 Posted June 15, 2023 Share Posted June 15, 2023 I have made my first BIAB and it has turned out ok ,made a 10LT batch fermented hops Citra 5gm 60 min Citra 5gm and galaxy 5gm at flame out and dry hoped at in fermenter at day 3, 20gm Citra and 20 gm galaxy bitterness is good ,aroma is lovely, flavor so so , wanting to add some El Dorado hops AA 13.9% to the mix to try to improve flavor How much and when, will keep every thing the same with other hops or hope to, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Marty_G Posted June 15, 2023 Share Posted June 15, 2023 If you want flavour use larger additions late or after the boil and it will do it for you. Up those 5g amounts to at least 1.5g/litre. but you need to realise that the AA% of the hop will impact bitterness.
