PB2 Posted January 28, 2011 Share Posted January 28, 2011 I guess the idea of rolling rather than up-ending the bottles may agitate the beer less and create less chance of foaming over when opened?? I always use a glass, when one is available. I like to use a glass that will hold the full 375ml - I find that the best chance of achieving an even cloudy appearance works this way: pour the first 2/3 into the glass, vigorously swirl the remainder in the bottle then empty it into the glass.
