mrchino73
Hi to all. Have a simple question, because I brewed a Stout Cooper's Can and added some maltodextrin to it and some dry malt. And the result is a great head, which I've never achieved them in an all grain batch!!!!! If I add this 2, to an All Grain recipe, will it improve the head?thax to all! Regards

Regards In an AG brew, I wouldn't use maltodextrin but a dextrine malt like Carapils. This will improve body and some claim it improves head formation and retention. Generally adding a little wheat is good for head formation too. 3

Marty_G
+1 to the above posts. In AG brewing you can alter the head and body of the beer with changes to the grain bill so maltodextrin is not used.
