iBrewbeer
Hi All, What are your suggestions for trying to pull off a fruity beer like 150 lashes or biggy juice if you have heard of that one? Anybody have a good hops combination? Thanks
RepSpec
start with a basic recipe (are you all grain or Kit brewing) Then trial hops. Citra, cascade, centenial, make a good beer Galaxy makes pasionfruity beer (main hop in Stone and Woods pacific ale) Mosaic makes for dank beers if used in big lots Most people use x amount of hops per litre of wort. (someone help me with amounts) Ways to get hop into beer - boil hops gives bitterness - Flameout/hop teas (water boiled, then dropped to 80c, hops added for 10-20mins) add flavour - Dry hop (hops added after 5-7 days of fermintation) add aroma Google those types of recipes or check out the recipes section of this web site to get some good starting points.

Motueka, Azacca and El Dorado are also a couple of hops that impart a tropical fruit flavour and aroma. I’ve used these before with positive results
RepSpec
the other thing to do Ibrew...is google the beers themselves. A lot of people have made recipes for them or it will take you to the pages of the brewers themselves. They often say (although some dont) what hops were used. They wont say in what sizes though. MitchellScott
150 Lashes uses: Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, Amarillo and Willamette. Play around with this combination and you should get something similar. Mitch.
