I preferred my cube not to completely seal anyway, after listening to an interview with a pro brewer asked whether he would consider trying no-chill in his home brewing. He said he wouldn't want a completely sealed cube because the bacteria that will grow in an anaerobic environment may kill you, whereas the bacteria that will grow in an aerobic environment may spoil your beer. Otto Von Blotto Posted April 20, 2019 Share Posted April 20, 2019 I don't think anyone else has experienced death from no-chilling in cubes either, certainly no reported cases of it.
