Muddy Waters
I hope your last 2 were enjoyable in a way consistent with the first 4 Matt. I've never really thought of the pale ale taste consistency but I do know that it is consistently my second choice after sparkling which is truly the nectar of the gods (and the inspiration for my user name). Enjoy your day off mate...I've got to work all week and then come back on the long weekend to fill in for all the other bludgers
PB2
Interesting comment. The variation in our naturally conditioned ales is one of the things that appeals to me. Most of the variation can be attributed to the different age and storage conditions. Luke
Paul, do they blend the beer from storage tanks before bottling?
THIRSTY MATT
hi all, i only started drinking it again about a month ago. and im buying it from the same place, so yeah..... also, im a big fan of "murray's ales"made here in nsw, but the beers are either THE BEST or REALLY LOST IT! maybe its just that coopers have better transport n storage ? or that i was just drunk last night off four beers??????? i done a city run, 14 pallets hand unload, not quiet a day in a brewery truck, but big enough to be trashed off four beers!!! seriously, i think what i mean is, i havent had a pale ale that has AGED WAY TOO MUCH or BEEN SPOILT BY LIGHT OR TRANSPOST/STORAGE. its also really refreshing, yet flavoursome!! its a good balance between CHHH , GULP GULP AHHHHHH and A YUMMY CRAFT BEER!! enough, im going! have a lovely day! matt
PB2
Luke, no blending! Very shortly after the Pale has finished fermenting it is transferred to a centrifuge then primed and reseeded on the way to the bottling tank. http://www.coopers.com.au/virtualBrewTour/default.php You should make the trip and do the real tour some time. :)
