Toucan Stout Recipe - Black Patent Malt

Hi All

 

Wanted to get some feedback on a toucan stout recipe that I am planning to put down.

 

1 can OS stout

1 can OS dark ale

500g LDM

300g choc malt (steeped 30 mins)

100g black patent malt (steeped 30 mins)

2 kit yeasts rehydrated.

 

Ive done the above but without the black patent malt. Im hoping to add more depth of flavour by adding in the black patent malt this time.

 

Happy to hear anyone’s thoughts.
