Jaydub
Grabbed a six pack of these the other day and cracked my first one tonight. Very much what I expected, very similar the S&W Pacific Ale. Nice enough but I prefer the pacific. It did pour crystal clear which was nice. Hairy
I tried one at the Gold Coast a little while ago as the place we were staying at had the Burleigh range. It was a nice drop but I think I expected more. It was also a little thin. I stuck to the 28 Pale Ales during the day, as they had that on tap and it was a refreshing beer in the sun, and then moved on to the Hasselhop and Figjam. Fancy a Cheeky Pint?
Well, that's made me go and pop that one in the fridge for later or tomorrow. A good mate gave me a great box of beers for Christmas which I'm working my way through and it just so happens to have The Tropical Pale Ale in there. I've never had this one before so I'm looking forward to it.
Jaydub
That's a good mate indeed. It will taste fantastic, especially since you didn't have to pay for it. Have to agree with hairy though. I was expecting more. Not bad but nothing special. Their 28 pale ale is probably the best I've had of theirs. Haven't had FIGJAM yet though.
