mcewan's beer Help

when i was back in Scotland many moons ago mcewan's made 2 kinds of beer one in a red can and one in a white tartan can one was export one was extra special (IThink) so one for you older Scots out there can you help, the white can seems to have just gone from history , all i really remember is it was a nice smooth beer and easy to drink

I remember the red export cans well, going as far back as 50+ years - they said "India Pale Ale" on the cans. More recently there were the blue cans of lager but I don't recall ever having seen the white or tartan cans ( you're not maybe getting those confused with Youngers Tartan Special ?)

 

Best memories of McEwans though were some of the best TV adverts ever !

You might be right about that ,old age and memories get clouded

will see if i can get some Youngers
