Luchare
Hi guys, Just wondering - I am currently drinking Coopers Pale Ale stubbies since the bottle shapes have changed. Have the recipe ingredients changed also? I am just wondering because I know Pale Ale used to be corn-free, but I am thinking this is not the case now. Dextrose does not affect me, though corn syrup, maltodextrin and maize does. Thank you, Nat

PB2
That's correct! The recipe remains the same despite the change of bottle shape. Water, Pale Malt, Hops, Yeast and a small addition of liquid sugar (sucrose dissolved in water) at bottling/kegging to enable secondary fermentation. Perhaps you are have an allergic response to something else that you happen to be exposed to at the same time you've been drinking the beer?? A medical practitioner may be able to help you through it.
