SeanM12
Can ayone give me the Thomas Cooper\u2019s Brew \u2018A' recipe? [biggrin] I have purchased the Recipe Pack but the link to this recipe has failed. Any variants would also be appreciated. Cheers

Guest
Ingredients: 2 x 1.7kg Australian Pale Ale Beer Kit 1.5kg Thomas Coopers Light Malt 50g East Kent Goldings (EKG) Hop pellets 11.5g SafBrew S-33 yeast or Coopers Commercial Ale yeast culture massive underpitch to my mind without running it through any calculators... Guest
use 2 x s-33 yeasts to get a 'more' correct pitching rate. "Expect the alcohol content to be around the 7.1% ABV mark." No way is one yeast packet enough.. look at it like this, Coopers provide 7g packets for roughly half those fermentables in this brew, some even argue that the 7g is not enough yeast so with twice that, I would certainly be pitching 2 packets or more likely (for me) 150ml compact slurry.. again, Ive not put this through any calculators... SeanM12
I threw the coopers yeast in too. Definitely a bit light on. Only had the s-33 from the pack. The waiting game begins.
