So I had to use this Coopers Dark Ale can I had since Big W had the amazing special on the Coopers HB range. As the name suggests I just dropped a recipe; Coopers Dark Ale Can an English Bitter can and steeped 15g of fuggles that I've had sitting around also. Mixed to 24L. Has anyone tried this or similar?? I think it might me amazing...I have an English mate who recons the last batch of English Bitter tasted like Newcastle Brown...that was following The Chocolate stout recipe. So I'll see if he can tell the difference with this one [ninja]

Looks interesting Stoo. Let us know how it turns out.

How bitter is it? Irish stouts don't have a huge amount of hop bitterness.

EDIT: I checked it out; the IBU will be 83 [devil]

Sounds good [happy] Will keep everyone posted!! I did use both yeasts from both cans as well in keeping with the Coopers Irish Stout recipe!
