MichaelD16
Has anyone tried out these beer machine kits they sell at target, Im sceptical that they could be any good.
Gash Slugg
I have checked them out, I haven't used one. I wouldn't buy one myself, too small, and you'd need a few if you wanted to get a beer supply happening. If they were cheap then it might be a good start for a beginner but for the price you'd be better off with the standard Coopers DIY kit. IMO Truth be told you can brew beer in anything as long as its food safe. I've used many different things over the years from a garbage bin to a plant pot with the old Coopers plastic bag fermenter liners in it. So it will work but.... Guest
I've seen them but personally I wouldn't bother and have only heard of people who got them ended up going the 'traditional' way eventually anyway. A lot of fuffing around for little outcome.
Matty A
I have a mate that absolutely loves his. The only issue with them is that it takes so long to brew and little to drink. The only way to make it worthwhile would be to have a couple of them going. The price doesn't seem right for that. I would just go with the conventional way and get some 19L kegs. MarkJ3
They look as though you ferment and drink from the same vessel. That is just wrong.[bandit] [devil]
