MrLeeB
I am thinking about doing a batch of English Bitter , but using BE2 instead of 500g of LDM. Any comments or will this be a bad combination, any help will be appreciated. PS : is anyone going to the 150th Coopers birthday party?? If you are than see you there............ Hairy
It will be drinkable. But I think this kit deserves more malt than 250g (excluding the maltodextrin stuff).

Hairy
A good base for the English Bitter kit is: 1kg Light Dry Malt 200g Dextrose Its even better if you add 300g Crystal Malt or Heritage Malt and some hops (a 20 min and 5 min addition and maybe a dry hop).
