I am thinking about doing a batch of English Bitter , but using BE2 instead of 500g of LDM. Any comments or will this be a bad combination, any help will be appreciated.

PS : is anyone going to the 150th Coopers birthday party??

If you are than see you there............

It will be drinkable.

But I think this kit deserves more malt than 250g (excluding the maltodextrin stuff).

+1 to Hairy i steer away from the brew enhancers only time i use them is if i want to make a real cheap brew best to use malt and dextrose you will have a much better quality beer if you use light dry malt instead of the brew enhancer

A good base for the English Bitter kit is:

1kg Light Dry Malt

200g Dextrose

Its even better if you add 300g Crystal Malt or Heritage Malt and some hops (a 20 min and 5 min addition and maybe a dry hop).
