hops for wheat beer

In a nutshell, European hops, e.g. saaz, hallertau, hersbrucker, etc...

Remember though, wheat beers aren't hoppy or bitter. It's typically all about the yeast, so make sure you get a good wheat yeast.

Although hops arent meant to be a big thing in wheat beer if i ever brew one ill be adding some sort of aromatic hops to the brew to take that edge off the Wheaty yeast taste. I know thats not the intended style just what i would do.

It doesn't really matter what hop you add to your wheat beer, just don't over do it. Add German/European hops for a more traditional style or add American hops/ US05 yeast for a "new world " take on the beer. Or you could add none(except PoR for bittering) for an Australian take on the beer. Up to you which road you take[innocent]
