AndyG4 Posted April 21, 2012 Author Share Posted April 21, 2012 recipe was: can blackrock stout can of coopers liquid light malt extract 250g each of crystal, chocolate and roasted wheat 23g of fuggles at 10mins, 23g at 0 mins. 11g of s33 yeast. calculator indicated OG 1055, my measurement was 1056. AndyG4 Posted April 22, 2012 Author Share Posted April 22, 2012 this beer is confusing me... after registering a 1025 SG yesterday, i turned up the temperature again and gave the bucket a swirl. just 24 hours later, it's now down to 1019. i can only imagine that i got a dud reading yesterday because i forgot to drain a bit out of the tap before filling up the hydrometer tube. in any case, it'll now have to wait until wednesday to be bottled anyway...
