Carbonation Drops for 330mL stubbies

Recommended Posts

Just a quick question. I am just about to bottle that Chocolate Eggstravaganza Stout that Coopers had last month and I wanted to bottle in stubbies. I see that 1 carbonation drop is good for a 375mL stubbie but my stubbies are only 330mL. Would 1 carbonation drop still be okay or do I need to try to cut off just over a tenth of each carbonation drop?

1 carb drop in a 33ml stubby will be fine.  At least I found it so.

@Beerb Alley In fact I think 1 carb drop is better suited to a 330ml bottle. I don't do stubbies. I started off with 2 carb drops for long necks but I found my beers a little under carbonated for my liking. I sometimes use 3 carb drops or 1 carb drop plus 1 CSR sugar cube.

Our resident guru, @Shamus O'Sean, has recently cut back on his drinking and is on "33ml" stubbies now.🤣
