Hairy Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 The yeast that comes with the kit won't be any good. You would have to buy some more yeast to get this one going. As for the malt, it won't be fresh so you will be missing one side of PB2's Beer Triangle (ie. fresh ingredients). You could give it a go but considering you can buy a fresh can for about $9 (with yeast) I would chuck it and get a new one.
