Canadian Eh!L
Hey Gang, I recently tried an experiment with blending yeast. I put down my 'House Ale': Cascade Draught 1.7 Kg OS Draught 1Kg LDM 200g Dex 7g Cooper's Ale yeast 23L Water 25g Cascade (dry hop) This time I through in the trub of my previous brew which was my "Golden Amber Ale" which uses US-05. This blend of yeast just changed a good beer into something fine, fine![biggrin] Give it a go!
Hairy
Sounds good Chad. I haven't used different yeasts together before. When you said yeast blending, I thought you meant bringing the yeast together, a bit of mood lighting, perhaps Barry White playing in the background and see what the union produces. Canadian Eh!L
Hi Hairy, [lol] I think it was J.J. Cale playing softly in the background. But when the lights were turned down low the two little yeasties started making there own beautiful music together.[wink]
