TonyW
Hi Jeff and welcome 3 weeks easy if you want to push it that far then other little changes start taking place.
Hairy
Plus leaving it an extra week will help clear the beer. It gives time for the yeast to clean up after themselves and for the yeast to drop out of suspension. I generally leave ales in the FV for 2 weeks and lagers for 3 weeks. JeffT3
Thanks guys I won't worry now. For my next brew I was thinking I would like to attempt my favourite Sparkling Ale. Is the Real ale kit the same as Sparkling? If not what would you recommend? Thanks Jeff
scottj2
hi JEFF no its not. If you cannot lay your hands on a can of sparkling ale i have read somewhere on the forum that you can use 2 cans of real ale to make a sparkling ale. I am sure some-one better than me will be along soon to advise you.Cheers[roll]

Thanks Jeff Your local homebrew shop should have sparkling ale cans (TC Series so not sold at Big W) or you can order them online direct from Coopers.
