alexs2
i have just brewed my first coopers larger. i have added grains and dry hooped the wort. Fermentaion went well but now after 3 weeks in the bottle it has not carbinated well it taste great and is crystal clear, its not flat but compared to my ales its not as bubbly. do largers take longer or is there something wrong with my brew ? Matty A
If it was the Original Series Lager then it actually uses an ale yeast. Although if it was the European Lager or Pilsner kit it will use a true lager yeast. It could be that it is just too cold for it to condition quickly. Just keep the bottles in temperatures around 18C - 20C for a couple of weeks and it will be ok. If you cant put it in a warmer environment, just wait a little longer and it will be ok. Also another question would be, how much priming sugar did you use?
