lfc_ozzie
Hey guys i originally wanted to get Iodophor but my local HBS persuaded me to buy Copper tun(brewshield) said it is better for use on plastic and does the same. The 2 questions i have as the instructions are pretty vague on bottle are: 1: After making the solution how long will it last in a spray bottle before being useless?? 2: how long do i need to leave in contact??, it just says saturate equipment and let dry, would it matter if it wasnt completly dry?? Thanks for ya help guys.

PB2
What is the active ingredient?
lfc_ozzie
Hydrogen peroxide 3%, silver ions and distilled water are the ingredients
PB2
Yeah, I think the silver ions stabilise the hydrogen peroxide. Once diluted with water, the hydrogen peroxide should break down over the course of an hour or so. The idea is just to spray on to all clean surfaces with no need to rinse. lfc_ozzie
Ok cool thanks for that, does it need to 100% dry before i can use equipment or does it not matter as long as it aint soaking??
Matty A
Use it before it drys. That way you have less chance of any bugs getting back on there
