McFrankel
REad an article today written by the self proclaimed barefoot investor scott pape. In this article he implied that the only people who home brew are those who are cash strapped and are attempting to live below their means by economising [annoyed] He further went on to state that home brewed beer tastes like it onl cost 8 cents per bottle to make and that we would do better by ditching the home brew and budgeting according to his rules!!! Whilst many applaude him I can now understand why I have always been a little uneasy about this person [rightful]

LeonardC2
Sounds to me like he's never tried a good home brew, much less tried making one. It's like they say, those who can't do,teach...
JohnS12
Good beer always cost money and should be considered an investment in what you consume. It normally cost me about $0.50 a stubbie but not complaining, always use the best you can and you will be rewarded for it.
LazyDave
Q. How much does commercial beer costs to make? A. 5c per bottle. Therefore home brew is better right?
Canadian Eh!L
you shouldn't let others make your beer for you. unless of course if they are really, really good at it.[biggrin]
