fiik
i thru a brew down b4 i left 4 queensland 12 days ago i come back and my hydrometer sinks str8 to the bottom does this mean its no good?
Matty A
Not at all. This could mean your hydrometer has an issue. Make sure their is enough beer in the tube so that the hydrometer can be in suspension. Even testing the hydrometer in water (it should read around 1000) will help clear that it is ok. If you want to know if your beer is bad, taste it. If it tastes and smells ok then chances are its good.

PB2
sounds like you have a leaker. Contact customerservice@coopers.com.au and we will arrange a replacement. We will want to get the leaker back. [wink]

Matty A
It would play a part if it is hot now but it wouldnt drop to the bottom like that. I would just follow Pauls advise and contact customer support

Matty A
That's what I thought at first Muddy but at least then it would be giving some sort of reading. The only thing i could think of if he filled the cylinder up was it was leaking
