Impatient

Brewed an Irish Ale Tue 4th Jan, here it is Wed 12th Jan and it is still bubbling away.

Og 5.8 now G 16. How long will I have to wait? The temp is 22.7C, wrapted in a wet towel, outside temp 28C.[crying]

Take your time, dont forget if you are brewing to 23 litres you are getting more than 2 slabs of beer. Then your saving a fair bit of cash. Id be leaving it to the 14-16th, i have even left a brew for 4 weeks thats rare though.

 

What were your malts/sugars in the brew?

Muddy, yea thats where i was, met the lady who does the stock (not very well) she said they must have sold out. When i rang they put me through to some bloke who said they had some for $23 and $20, I was there within 1/2 hour of calling. must be a lot of brewers up that way. Finished up with a 20L jerry can for $23 to use for G/Beer. I neened a 25L to tranfer the beer into to do your Dex priming. Got 4 going at the moment including the G/Beer so i'm short 1 fermenter.[crying]
