Phil Glass
I have a couple of questions about storage of PET bottles, what is a good temperature range for long term storage(6 months+) and how many high can the boxes be stacked? Thanks, Phil
Matty A
From what I read, around 20 degrees is a good temperature although I think that the temperature can vary a fair bit when conditioning in bottles as long as it isnt too high. I have also heard of people storing their beer for up to 12 months in the PET bottles without worrying about temperature and they where fine. About the boxes being stacked, depends on how well your boxes are.
Muddy Waters
I wouldn't be stacking them more than 4 or maybe five high myself but I'm curious if box stacking has ever been part of PB2's rigorous testing regime at the brewery. Not that I'd be surprised it if it has [biggrin]
PB2
Never stacked them more than 6 high but I'm not much taller than that anyway [pinched] [pinched] They show very good strength when full of beer and weight is placed atop, so they would probably stack higher. Stability of the stack would be my main concern....
