CodenameJames
...Yes strange question. Unwanted? Yep. After a shoddy primary fermentation a wheat beer I brewed has been bottle conditioning for a few months, and now still tastes like rat piss. Or soapy water with a hint of gherkins as my missus puts it. I'm keen to turn the bottles over to a (hopefully) decent brew! So the question is, apart from tipping it down the drain, are there any worthwhile uses of this liquid ?(it's not beer I can assure you) Can I water the plants with it? I hear it is good for baiting snails / slugs etc from the garden, but there's not enough snails in the street for 23L of this rubbish... Any suggestions appreciated! PB2
The pumpkin patch got a good soaking with the odd "below expectations" brew - unlike me, they thrived on it[biggrin]

AnthonyR1525228508
After parties I've always tipped the remnants of unfinished beers on to the plants. They can use the sugar apparently.
MarkJ3
I have always tipped my sediment and leftovers after bottling onto plants, must have some nutrient in it, certainly isn't doing them any harm.[biggrin] [lol]
