Worthog
I purchase my hop pellets out of my LHBS, or if unavailable, from Melb or Syd on ebay (posted). I place all my hop pellets straight into the freezer in their sachets. I now have many types. I take them from the freezer, weigh them out, then reseal the sachet and put back in the freezer. Are these frozen hop pallets losing their potency over months with this process? Cheers Edited June 12, 2019 by Worthog
Otto Von Blotto
Yes, but by how much is a bit of a guess. It would definitely be less than if they were in a cupboard or the fridge. I usually vacuum seal mine but have been a bit slack with that recently. Need to get more bags for the machine.
