JonathanM3
Had the sparkling ale last night, I was astonished. It wasn't at all what I expected. There many layers of flavor in there, but the beer maintained an easy drinkability. I am extremely impressed. World class beer if ever there was one. Great job, Coopers. If you follow the recipe on the Sparkling Ale kit, do you end up with something close, or do you need to up the ldme and add hops?
PB2
The recommended recipe, on the side of the can, is intended to get as close as possible to the real thing. Use the commercial coopers ale yeast and the result will be even closer.[wink]

JonathanM3
This brew, let me call it Two Monkeys Pale Ass Ale, turned out quite good. My first brew, the Coopers Wheat, I thought turned out a little thin, but this one is great. Plenty of hop taste from the Nugget with a little added bitterness. A touch of spice from the Sterling, and the aroma - when the beer was younger, you could smell it across the room right out the bottle. I shared a bunch with my friends, now I wish I hadn't ! Thanks everyone for your help. I'm going to check if I left the recipe or not. If not, can I leave it in the recipe section?
