Recommended Posts

good morning guys

i'm a newbie to home brew and so far loving every minute of it . Ive brewed to batch

1 x Australian pale ale ( in secondary fermentation still )

1 x Lager ( in secondary fermentation still )

have a little more room in the garage so was hoping to brew one more batch , was thinking the draight can might be a good idea ?

any tips on dry hoping it to increase aromas , tastes etc etc . Ive used cascade pellets with the APA cant wait to try that

any tips would be appreciated

I have made this a couple of times with the Draught kit and it turned out quite nice. It does need a grain steep and a hop boil though.

1.7kg Coopers Draught

1.5kg Light Liquid malt extract

500g Dry Wheat malt (or light dry malt)

500g Dextrose

300g Victory malt (or light crystal malt)

10g Amarillo @ 15 minutes

10g Centennial @ 15 minutes

15g Amarillo @ 10 minutes

15g Centennial @ 10 minutes

10g Amarillo @ 5 minutes

10g Centennial @ 5 minutes

25g Centennial @ dry hop

Yeast - US-05 plus kit yeast

OG - 1062

FG - 1014

ABV - 6.9%

IBU - 60ish

If I was doing it now I would add some more hops at flame out and increase the dry hop.
