Low carbohydrate beer

Moor beer

Recommended Posts

G'day Shayne,

I haven't analysed Pure Blonde and only tasted it once - one mouthful was enough, thanks! :)

If you want to get something close I can spend some time on it and get back to you.

If your preference is more toward a low carbohydrate brew rather than matching a beer, simply get some Brewcellar Enzyme (home brew specialist stores) and add it to a brew. The brew might be the Original Series Lager (with the green lid) and add 500g of Light Dry Malt. The enzyme will break the more complex sugars down into simple sugars that the yeast can metabolise, will ferment to a lower final gravity than normal and will probably take a few days longer to get there.
