Tipsy
Hi, Is there any information on the Coopers kits for bitterness and colour? I want to enter them into Beersmith and need to know the IBU's and SRM. Cheers Oh, and the SRM of the Coopers extracts if possible :)
PB2
Colour and Bitterness for Coopers Beer Kits can be found here: http://www.coopers.com.au/homebrew/hbre ... d=1&id=108 Colour for Coopers Malt Extract can be found here: http://www.coopers.com.au/homebrew/hbrew.php?pid=7 The majority of the "Beer Making World" measures colour in EBC. Approximate conversion to SRM: SRM = (EBC+1.2)/2.65 Note: Colour is at the time of packaging. The product will develop more colour over time, this process is accelerated with elevated temperatures.
