pale ale stubbies

just be careful of the coopers stubbies, as they're as useless as the vic ones these days.. they are a lot thinner than they once were, so are conducive to cracking. I cracked a hell of a lot before I moved to the wonderful world of PET (and now Kegs).

The longnecks are your friends though, Coopers - in their infinite wisdom, have gone back in the last 12 months (or less) to using a thicker 'home brew friendly' grade glass for their longies. So long necks of Sparkling Ale, Stout or Pale will be great workhorses for your crown sealing pleasure.

I brought a whole heap of long necks from my bottle depot for $3 a dozen. Last time i went there i got 10 doz pick axes for $30. Needed to give them a good scrub but thay turned out real good. So maybe ring up a couple bottle depots and see what thay have
